Our Story
LAPIS was founded with a simple conviction: long-term investing works best when it is built on clarity, discipline, and repeatable rules.
From the beginning, our focus has been on highly liquid listed equities, direct ownership, and companies that combine business quality with dividend continuity and long-term growth. Over time, this evolved into the LAPIS Way: a transparent investment framework designed to help clients stay disciplined when narratives turn loud and uncertainty rises.

FAQ
Need more clarification?
A few practical answers to the questions we hear most often from clients and prospective clients.
Approach & Performance
We follow a clear, rule-based investment framework focused on highly liquid listed equities, dividend continuity and long-term quality, with direct implementation in individual stocks.
Portfolios are built with transparency and disciplined diversification — designed to stay consistent when market narratives turn loud.
Model portfolios illustrate how a strategy works over time. In practice, individual results may differ due to the timing of entry, transaction costs, bid-ask spreads, portfolio rebalancing, currency effects and individual tax circumstances. These differences are typically limited, but they are a normal part of real-world implementation.
Products & Structure
A LAPIS Analysis is not an investable product. It is a structured research framework used to define investable universes and portfolio rules. Funds and AMCs are implementation formats built on these Analyses: Funds are Luxembourg-domiciled collective investment vehicles, while AMCs are bank-issued structured products that provide exposure to a selected portfolio through a single instrument.
Yes. Portfolios can be tailored by combining LAPIS Analyses in line with your objectives, risk profile and existing allocation, always within a disciplined and transparent investment framework.
Yes. We define a strategic asset allocation based on your risk tolerance, investment goals and time horizon before implementing the portfolio.
Yes. Your strategic asset allocation can be reviewed and adjusted to reflect changes in your objectives, risk profile or market environment, always within our disciplined, rule-based framework.
Costs & fees
Our management fee covers ongoing portfolio monitoring, periodic rebalancing and the continuous application of our rule-based investment framework. It also includes reporting and client support. Any additional costs — such as transaction fees or custodian charges — are billed separately and disclosed transparently.
Our pricing is designed to be fair, transparent and efficient. Fees depend on the service, investment amount and implementation format, and we are happy to explain them clearly in a personal conversation.
Practical & operational
